Boston, MA – Craters & Freighters, the national leader in specialty freight and crating solutions, announced its Boston territory is now under new ownership. The company welcomes Rick Cannata, a lifelong resident of Massachusetts to Craters & Freighters’ nationwide network of locations.

“There is a great need for our service in Boston because of its dramatically wide range of industries such as manufacturing, medical and high tech companies, as well as the fine art and antiques markets,” said Diane Gibson, Craters & Freighters Founder and CEO. “We are thrilled to have Rick Cannata as a part the Craters & Freighters’ team. In the time I worked with Mr. Cannata, I found him to be one of the most intelligent, ethical, honest and fun people we’ve added to our system. He will offer a great service to Bostonians in that he’s one of those guys in business who just gets it. He says what he’s going to do and does what he says, period.”

Owner Rick Cannata adds, “When I came across Craters & Freighters in researching businesses to buy, I found its business model and service offerings to be very unique and challenging. After owning and operating PCM Construction Company Inc. for over thirty years, purchasing a Craters & Freighters location seemed like a natural progression in my career. The Boston location was already in operation and I knew that with my years of sales and building experience, the business had great potential to improve its service capabilities and grow. My staff and I look forward to assisting Boston area businesses and residents with their specialty crating and shipping needs.”
